Torrid is a new specialty retail concept inspired by a staggering amount of requests from young, female shoppers. After an intense research and development process, Torrid was born.

Torrid caters to young women who are part of the fastest-growing market segment in the United States, the plus-size market. The merchandise assortment at Torrid includes apparel, lingerie, shoes and accessories centered around the various lifestyles of young women today. The assortment is 50% private label and 50% well known fashion brands like Paris Blues, Dickies, LEI, Z. Cavaricci, Tripp, Hot Kiss and others.

Torrid opened its doors in mid-April 2001 at the Brea Mall in Brea, California. Since its inception, Torrid has opened 100+ stores nationwide. All current and upcoming locations can be found by using our store locator.
